How To Care for your Lexie Lu Swim Suit:

 
    • Rinse Immediately:

      Rinse the swimsuit with cold water right after each swim to remove chlorine, salt, and other chemicals that can damage the fabric. 

       
    • Hand Wash Gently:

      Hand wash the swimsuit in cold water using a mild detergent specifically designed for delicates. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach. 

       
  • Avoid Harsh Washing Machine Settings:

    Do not put the swimsuit in the washing machine, as the agitation can damage the fabric and elastic. 

     
  • Dry Flat:

    Air dry the swimsuit flat, away from direct sunlight, to prevent fading and damage. You can also use a fan to help dry it faster. 

     
  • Pretreat Stains:

    If necessary, pretreat stains with a gentle detergent and spot clean.

     
  • Avoid Rough Surfaces:

    Avoid sitting on rough surfaces, as these surfaces can damage the fabric. 

     
  • Apply Sunscreen Before:

    Apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before putting on your swimsuit to prevent oil-based sunscreens from staining the fabric. 

     
  • Store Properly:

    When not in use, store your swimsuits in a cool, dry place. 

     
Additional tips:
  • Use a mesh bag:

    If you choose to wash your swimsuit in the washing machine (which is generally not recommended), place it in a mesh bag first to protect it from snags and damage. 

     

  • Don’t soak:

     Do not soak the swimsuit for extended periods, as this can damage the fabric.
